I am a little sad today.
Very very early tomorrow morning my little brother, Nick:
Will be leaving on a plane to:
Afghanistan.
No he is not going there for a vacation or on some site seeing adventure. He is going to SERVE, PROTECT & keep people SAFE. While I am VERY VERY proud of of my brother for doing this and risking his life to protect our country and other countries. I only wish he did not have to go to a place so far away and so kind of unsafe. I have to think of it as if he is going on a mission and that while he is on this "mission" our Heavenly Father will watch over him, keep him, safe and let him return home safely. Until his return I will pray that he is safe, careful and comes home soon. After all he is my little brother, though he is not so little anymore, and I want only the best for him.
So let me just say this..........

I LOVE YOU!!! I WILL PRAY for you. I HOPE that you will be SAFE & COME HOME SOON! PLEASE be CAREFUL, STAY STRONG, BE BRAVE but not TOO BRAVE. Be KIND and CONTINUE to be YOU because YOU ARE AMAZING!
