So last month I was tagged by a fellow blogger and I was a little afraid to do this but after spending some time alone over the Thanksgiving Holiday it made me think about my quirks a little more. So I hope whoever reads this will not hold my Quirky Quirks against me because let me tell you I have some strange quirks but these are the TOP 6:
1~ For some reason I can never go to bed without reading. Even it I am dead tired and it is 2 in the morning when I lay down to fall asleep I can't unless I read something. Sometimes it is just a paragraph in a magazine and others times it is half a book but I have to read something before I can fall asleep.
2~ I match my perfume scent with what I am going to wear and I can never wear the same perfume twice in one week. I know it sounds crazy but I believe that scents are a part of fashion and you can wear the wrong perfume with the wrong outfit. Don't ask me why but I am just strange that way. While I do LOVE perfumes and have a good collection it is never a problem to figure out what one to wear I just have to make sure I am wearing the right outfit.
3~When putting on my make up in the mornings I can not do it in a big mirror. I always use a little compact mirror and I never wear the same makeup colors in the same week. Each day as I am getting ready for work I do my eye shadow different than the day before and most the time I try to make sure it matches what I am wearing. I use at least 3 different kinds of mascara when I put on my make up but I never have the "spider leg" eyelashes. Not sure if it helps them make any better but hey it is one of my quirks.
4~When wearing open toe shoes my toenails always have to be polished and the polish has to match my outfit. There have been some mornings when I am getting ready and I want to wear a perfect pair of open toe shoes but my polish doesn't match my outfit so I don't wear them. This is on reason why I try to figure out the night before what I am going to wear. LOL
5~If I am trying out a new recipe I count on others to tell me if they like it in order to decided if I am going to make it again. I can never taste what I make and figure out if it is good or not. I rely on other people to tell me if they like it and then that will determine if I will make it again. Strange I know and most people think it is strange that I don't always eat what I cook till other have tried it and some get a little worried if I put something strange in the recipe and that is why I won't eat it first. But I promise you the first time I make something I follow the recipe exactly as written so I don't ever add anything strange so there are no worries that I have poisoned that food. LOL
6~When I get magazines in the mail I first have to look all the way through the magazines before I actually read the articles in the magazine. I look at what is in the magazines and then I go back and read all the articles that I want to. For some reason it makes the magazine last a little longer but lets face it half the reason I get the magazine is to look at and study the ads and not the articles.
So those are just some of my MANY STRANGE quirks and it is sad to say that these are not the only six just the top six. You don't even want to get me started on my shampoos, matching purses, having a morning toothbrush and a night toothbrush, and having to wear something by Ralph Lauren everyday because all that could take whole book and then you will understand why I really am still single. LOL So for those that read this I hope you will not hold these against me but maybe just laugh a little at me because of them, I don't mind the laughing part because even I laugh at myself because of my quirks.
So now I am passing this TAG along to someone else I hope someone will accept the challenge because I don't want to be "it" for a long time I already have 6 quirks against me. LOL
